for target audience appeal
Dominant Image: using the frontman because they
are usually the most recognisable so it appeals to more people.
House Style: Kerrang’s masthead sticks out and
is made to stick in people’s heads. Page numbers are highlighted so it’s easier
for the readers to get to what they want instead of the reader losing interest.
Coverlines: made to stick in the audiences’ head
as well as entice them into the story
